1928. The Crawleys and their servants attend the wedding of Tom Branson and Lucy Smith. Lady Violet, meanwhile, soon announces to her family that she has inherited a villa in the south of France which she wishes to bequeath to the daughter of Lady Sybil and Tom Branson. During this time, the shooting of a silent film at Downton divides the family and the servants while some of them go to discover this famous villa in France and meet the masters of the place.
